Nothing Shocking, Mar 11 2009

I'm not too impressed with the second installment in the Shellshock series. The moment a quick time event popped up on the screen, I said to myself, "this is not good." There are moments when an enemy will attack you and you are required to press the WASD keys in proper order to fend off the attack. I hate this feature!
The gun play is pretty good most of the time, but there are times when aiming can be a hassle (your reticle sort of sways in the wind). Graphics are decent, but nothing to write home about. The horror element is there (somewhere). For example, as you're moving about various buildings you can hear babies crying. Then all of a sudden you hear a loud bang and the crying stops. A bit disturbing.
There's no online activation and the only DRM I can see is a disc check. This is a situation where you definitely are getting what you pay for ($30). No multiplayer component, it's all about the single player experience. Unfortunately, you don't get much.

No Jumping, are you kidding.
Graphic Problems on high end machine.
Special events require fast key "Simon Says" type game or you instantly die & go back way too far.
