Rawk! Oct. 3 2003

Format: Audio CD
I just had the pleasure of seeing EES play live and they were amazing! True heavy metal super stars! If they come anywhere near your town, do yourself a favor and witness the magic for yourself. You won't regret it. The CD does a good job of capturing the music, but the true joy is watching them perform it live. Buy the CD, you won't regret it.

Monsters from japan! Nov. 1 2004
By Spewkie - Published on
Format: Audio CD
When I first saw this band months ago, I have no idea what to expect. However, they utterly rocked the house and I rushed out to buy the CD outside the bar. This CD has gone on my list of all time favorites. This fast paced and exciting punk album just gets me going. If there is one single song that I would advise you listen to, it would be Rock'N Roll Can Rescue the World. Check out this album, its well worth the money.
Great hard rock Sept. 24 2009

Hard Rock like it's meant to be. Powerful riffs, tight rhythm, psycho vocals. Do yourself a favor and buy this album.

Perfect Driving Music Aug. 4 2006

EES has been around for so long it is like they always existed. This album was their big break in the US, although they are still relatively unknown outside of certain circles - which is sad. They are a talented group with a passion for what they do and this all comes through on this release.

C'mon guys, I appreciate your enthusiasm but this is not a 4 or 5 star album. March 14 2010

As the tracks can be sampled here on amazon, little needs to be said about this type of music these guys make. One suspects that, because the band is so much fun and doubtless a must attend concert, the reviews here are including a couplefew stars of good will in their ratings.
The stuff on this album isn't that great. The vocals aren't top notch for, after all they are sung in heavily, and I mean heavily, accented English that would be difficult to comprehend even in the most ordinary circumstances, never mind when being shouted out above the din of a heavy metal background. The din, too, leaves a bit to be desired because this band isn't tight in the way that TMGE, for instance is, and their dissonance sometimes has the feel of being unintended, I think.
Anyway, I give the band five stars for being endearing and entertaining but only one or two for their originality and compositional skills, two or three for their musicianship.
Not recommended, actually, but I bet their live show kills.
