Having this CD Single on my hand,I am just more than overwhelmed!First, this is my first CD Single EVER!Just bought it today!I didn't know I would actually end up buying it(from Future Shop),and I don't know if I'm gonna buy any CD Singles in the future.Then,so...the reason why I bought this is that 1.It is the only disk you can get the original version of Electrical Storm on(despite the tasteful limited edition "Best of 1990-2000" includes it as well),which unreasonably didn't make a cut on their last year's compilation(normal edition) that I bought half a year ago or any standard U2 album by far;2.As for the song itself,it's absolutely shocking and breath-taking,with a more rock-driven beat than the mixed version,as described in the other reviews...It's the song that made me start listening to U2,who I used to detest because of overhyped media exposure...Above is pretty much what makes me think it necessary to buy this single,if only it was featured on the standard compilation...haha!As well, just a sidenote, this blue cover shown up here is the accurate cover of the CD,as opposed to the other grey cover which has the mixed version only. So,get this and you won't regret by both the A side and the B side tracks!

Hey!I just wrote a long review, but where the heck did it go?!Anyway, this is my first CD Single, and it is necessary to have this since it doesn't appear on any standard U2 album. The song is awesome without a doubt.Much more rock-influenced than the mixed version. Finally, this blue cover is the right cover of the single,as opposed to the grey cover one which features the mixed version!

ELECTRICAL STORM is another great song by U2. Highly recommended!
But the best reason to get this single is the performance is BAD/40/WHERE THE STREETS HAVE NO NAME, recorded live in Boston during the Elevation tour of '01.
