5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Fun, very addicting March 17 2014

I love playing this game. I lost interest in twitch shooters after the first Call of Duty Black Ops. After the initial Black-Ops it all felt like re-hashed stuff. Don't get me wrong I love FPS games, but in the last couple of years there has been a bunch of sequels... but no real innovation. It was all stagnant until Titanfall.

The game has the CoD familiarity to it, which I love, plus Titans, the double-jumping ability and wall-running. All these features combined makes this game a blast to play! You really have to think on your feet as enemies are everywhere now and sometimes invisible (think Predator).

The only thing that would've made this game stellar would've been a more fleshed-out co-op campaign.
I mean it's nice to have a narrator telling you why you're shooting at others but it could've been better. I have to be honest though I don't really play twitch shooters for the campaign, so it's not that much of an issue for me ;)

All in all I recommend this game to everyone that loves first person shooters and Epic firefights.

5.0 out of 5 stars Breath of fresh air March 13 2014
This is a amazing game too play & very fun. From jumping off the walls too piloting a Titan and yes you can by yourself take out a enemy titan with your anti-titan weapon. It plays like a Call of Duty game with perks but extremely better I for one didn't like the current CoD Ghost game. I have not experienced any frame rate drops online and the there's a lot of talk about the resolution 792p the moment you get into your titan or are fighting a titan on foot with you anti-titan weapon you'll forget what the resolution is. If you want too play the next big thing in first person shooters buy this or just go back too playing the same old year after year CoD I can't go back too Ghost's.

It's an awesome game the gaming industry should make more games like this one but on this game they should have just put a real campaign not just a online multiplayer campaign

3.0 out of 5 stars This game is super fun, for a short while May 14 2014

Titanfall is a beautifully created game. Fantastic graphics and great gameplay. I played the beta upon release and was quite stoked to get the full game upon release but my excitement was short lived. My pros and cons:

Great gameplay
Cool new ideas not seen in previous FPS
Top notch graphics

Seems to be different players than the CoD crowd which to me tends to be a younger or more immature crowd, constantly cussing and chirping others for irrelevant reasons, often unrelated to the game. Titanfall players seemed more mature (in my short time of playing)

No story really. The "story" is just the game putting in a short cut scene before the fight or during your fight they will talk to you in a small clip in the top corner. The story is still all online play which is team deathmatches and domination essentially.

Very limited weapon selection with not much customization to them.

Excitement is not long lasting as the concept is cool but dies off quickly. My disc entered my Xbox one no more than 5 times

If your a low generation or not the best player, good luck. I kept on getting paired against people who would be Generation 5-10 when I had just started, therefore it was frustrating constantly getting killed and seeming like there was nothing I could do to even hurt them, that said I am typically a stronger gamer, often placing in the top 3 in BF3 and BF4 matches, as well as top 100 in NHL in some cases.

Summary: Great concept with good gameplay, just needs more features like offline story mode, more weaponry, and ultimately more to keep you interested

4.0 out of 5 stars really good April 29 2014
I've been playing for a while now, and I've got to say this game is a lot of fun. Having the specters and grunts to shoot at keeps the games intensity up, and the mechs are just a blast to play. Titanfall wont revolutionise FPS, but it is worth the money,
