5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Dec 6 2007
Fun: 4.0 out of 5 stars
I am in my 20s and LOVE this game. If you love the Sims but want to try something a bit different, this is great. You create a town by building houses and shops for people visiting. You collect 'essences' so you can paint things all different colors and patterns. It is not as interactive as The Sims in the sense that you don't have to eat, sleep or goto the bathroom...but you can. The game is a little slow in loading. But like The Sims it truly is addicting. Enjoy!

Fun: 3.0 out of 5 stars
Well this game was supposed to be a sims game with mix of animal crossing and harvest moon. There is quite a bit of animal crossing such as the running around doing task for people, but not a lot of harvest moon which I love. These task are limited to the special characters and they only have 3 tasks each. Once you have completed all the tasks the game is pretty much meaningless. To get the tasks done you have to collect essenses which fall into categories: party, cute, geeky, spooky, academic, and food. Each character has 2 likes and 1 dislike and the goal is to build their houses with as much of the essences that they like to get them to best friend to unlock a blueprint. Building items is simple if you are making the item as per the blueprints, but can become very difficult in placing your building blocks where you want them if you dont want to follow the blueprint. I would say this game would be appropriate for children (mostly girls) aged 6-10, For any older once you come to complete the main tasks and move in the uber sims (if you chose)there's not much to do. If you want to play this game to see what it's all about like I did, I suggest renting it, it took me 2 days to complete the game.

I'll also note that there is no needs section in this version of the sims either. The buildings are made of blocks and accessories, you dont actually build any walls, and the insides are pre-made as they are not confined to the walls that you built. You can just move around the items in the houses.

5.0 out of 5 stars This game is all about CREATIVE!! April 21 2008

IF you just wanna buy a game and complete it, then this is not a game for you or your children. Since this game is all talk about how to creat things, not complete it. Personally, I'll strongly recomment this game for parents play with their kids. Since in this game there has so many differnt mission, which can help young child to creat their creativity. If you are someone parent, this is the game for your kids and you.
