I have read a number of books on filters. Most are a general reference. This book has the details i was looking for. I have looked at the 2nd edition and this has a lot of new additions.

As the title says, this book was purchased for my father who is an electrical engineer. So far as I can tell, the book was a real hit with him.

Wow, what a find. It was the latest edition, had a very nice clear plastic cover on it, and even included the software (although on a floppy, hard to find a computer with a floppy drive anymore). Thank you!

The math is a little difficult for me. Haven't had a math course in 35 years. But with a little help from my friends and daughter I will make it work. Very good book on the subject.
