This was a required book for my EHR class but could be used on it's own to learn SpringCharts EHR software program. It is easy to read and easy to follow. Very user friendly program. With the book you get access to a demo version of the software to practice and learn on. I would recommend.

I work in the clinical informatics and as part of my college degree program I had to take an EMR class. I was excited thinking I might learn some additional skills in something like PowerChart or Epic, but I was presented with SpringCharts. It's one of the most useless EMR's I've ever used and I've used probably 10 different programs both third party and inhoue software systems. SpringCharts is nothing like what one will use in a hospital or clinic setting, maybe a doctor's office but that's a big maybe. If you are planning on being an MA, PCA, RN whatever skip a class that requires you to use this book, you won't learn anything useful.

I purchased this used text book anticipating that there would be writing or highlighting from the previous owner but there were multiple(dozens of) pages MISSING!!!
