Nothing wrong with book. It's pretty nice. Only one thing is not satisfied is delivery. Spending pretty long time to receive it.

Not worth it June 17 2011
By MissAGold - Published on Amazon.com

Unless your professor makes you order this, it is not worth it. My professor made us purchase it and I never used it. The same problems are in the book. If possible I would try and find a combo deal with the book and workbook. I wouldn't purchase it on it's own unless it was a dollar. Seriously not worth it, save your money for another chemical engineering book.

It really should be obvious to anyone who reads the book description but this is not the book you need. This is a WORKBOOK to go along side the book. This is a helpful tool to have if you need help with course work. shipping was fast. hope this review helped.

Useful Workbook March 8 2007
By Markus Seyfert - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Elementary Principles of Chemical Processes is a very useful workbook for students and university staff. It may help you solving problems around Processes and Process Variables, Fundamentals of Material Balances, Single-Phase Systems and Multiple Systems. At the end of the book you can find selected answers.
Great help for those stubborn intro Chem E problems Feb. 8 2014

This also comes as a package with a CD and the textbook "Elementary Principals of Chemical Processes." This (text) book is apparently out of print. The examples worked out in this workbook are very explicitly shown, step by step. They're similar to the problems in the text at the ends of the chapters. They're taken from the textbook that was version 2. I found that if you work through these problems successfully, and do the homework from the book, as well as read the text, you'll do well in the class. The only issue with the package set is that the CD ROM doesn't really work on my Windows 8 machine. The price for the entire package NEW was less than a used version of the text only in the bookstore at my university. It arrived quickly, and sometimes chemical engineers keep this textbook on their desks throughout their careers. The workbook makes a great little addition: it talks you through the problems rather than working them out with no explanation, like you would from a webpage or something TELLING you how to do it. Thank you for the help in this class, it brings it all together nicely!
Great help to understanding the questions in the book Jan. 21 2014

Intro to Chemical Engineering is a challenging course. Even if your instructor does not require this workbook, I would recommend it as a studying supplement. It walks you through the steps needed to complete some of the end-of-chapter problems, which get complicated fast!
