Set up is simple and straight forward. The software you get with it words elegantly and very simplistically.
If you're new to recording video game footage the Elgato is a great starting capture card!
I love the device. Easy setup. You have to install computer software manually from Elgato website but that is easy as well.
Currently recording Wii and Xbox360. Works like a charm. Definitely high quality.
Also, I love how it is small, requires at least only 3 electrical wires, does not need to be plugged into a electrical socket and how it is portable. If you want HD recording, I recommend you get one.
This product is basically flawless except for one little irritating thing, it's that you have to put the USB into the computer and the computer has to be on to play your console. Whenever I don't want to record, I still have to leave my computer on which is a little irritating, but that's okay.
Overall, I love this product, so I'm giving it a 4/5. Good quality, great features and a great product for how small it is.
