Elite Ambition is the 10th book in the Canterwood Crest series, and it's a great one! Compared to some of the other books, it was more low-key with not quite as much drama- emphasis on quite. Elite Ambition picks up right where the last book left off- on the way back to Canterwood. This is a very character-based book, with a new main girl added to the YENT scene and most of Sasha's thoughts focused on three people- Callie, Jacob and Paige. She has to deal with the leftover drama with her roommate Paige from City Secrets, reconsider Jacob as a boyfriend, and then consider whether she hurts Callie because of that. The schooling show is drawing near and that seems to be the book's competitive climax- I've noticed that many Canterwood books culminate in a show or competition of some kind. And at the very end, Jessica Burkhart does one of her perfect endings- conclusive enough to mostly satisfy you but still leaving you desperate for the next book and thinking "Two months had better go by fast!" I CANNOT wait for the next book. Elite Ambition is EXCELLENT- highly recommended!

Sasha and Heather return from their fall break. Sasha's nervous about talking to Jacob after she's found out Heather's been e-mailing him pretending to her Sasha all week. Still, she can't deny her feelings for Jacob. She goes to meet him and to discover if they can slowly take a chance on dating each other.
Sasha's also uneasy about her relationship with Paige after their fight and her refusal to talk with Paige during vacation. Although they apologize to each other, there's still tension in the room. As time goes on, Sasha just wants things to return to normal with her BFF. Something's lurking beneath the surface. Will they actually hash out their feelings?
Sasha's trying not to get caught up in all the drama as she focuses on riding. There's a new girl in the YENT lessons. Sasha really likes Brit, they get along great and have fun hanging out together. Sasha knows what it's like to be the new girl and she's more than happy to have a new friend.
Can Sasha finally relax and focus on her riding or will her friendship drama reach a boiling point and cause her to mess up everything?
I'm so addicted to this series and the cliff hanger endings make me want the next book immediately.

My Fave Book, Nov 10 2010
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
honestly? I <3ed the book. It's my fave book in the Canterwood Crest series because Sasha FINALLY comes to her senses and leaves Paige. I mean, come ON. A real BFF would never diss you like that, and I'll bet that Brit never would. Sash deserves HER for a roommate & BFF. I wish I knew Brit. She would make the PERFECT BFF. But I'm not complain about mine. I have the best BFFs in the world. We're like the Trio, with me like Heather, Zoe as Julia ans Erin as Alison. And I know JUST how it feels to be dissed by your BFF. The girl who did it is my ex-BFF.
