This aptly titled brave portrayal shows Elton John as a passionate genius committed to giving the best show(s) possible. The documentary done by his partner David Furnish captures Elton while on tour in 1995, and the camera honestly follows the showman throughout, to display a sometimes temperamental personality "warts and all". During the closing credits, in a follow-up response, Elton John echos my only criticism in that this film is too short. Running approx. 75min., it could have gone on much longer. Additional features on the dvd include some entertaining deleted scenes, and a commentary (more recently recorded in 2008). I think this is a great behind-the-scenes observation for any fan, or anyone interested in what it takes to be Elton John.
