Rarement dans ma vie ais-je eu le privilege d'assister a une prestation aussi authentique. Si Jonathan Rhys-Meyers n'a pas le phisique d'Elvis, il compense largement en empruntent son caracthere et sa personalitee. Je ne suis pas dupe et realise que certaine coupure de publicitee ont ete introduite mais il demeure que cet acteur est parvenue a rentrer dans la peau du personage. C'est epoustouflant on a l'impression d'assiter a une reincarnation. Je trouve que ce film est tres bien diriger et que les acteurs ont ete tres bien choisit. Ce film a l'avantage d'offrir un nouveau ou plutot un regard plus precis sur le personage qu'etait et demeure Elvis Presley. Je le recomande a quiconque cherche a connaitre et comprendre le Roi du rock and Roll.

For an Elvis fan like myself, this was entertaining enough but I felt it lacked grittiness. In other words, a Hollywood treatment of a biography. But my only real complaint is that "Elvis" looked the same from beginning to end, and never reflected the significant changes in appearance during his beginning years. It didn't really get to the later years where more dramatic physical changes occurred. But lots of good music, decent acting and dialogue and it kept me amused for 6 hours.
