A detailed prtrait of Canada's greatest woman painter, a British Columbia icon. Maria Tippet's biography is well written and is a look at Emily through someone else's eyes other than Emily's Although disagreeable at times, Tippett is thorough and gives information not found elsewhere. I liked it.
