She's Got me Feelin' Emotions,

Mariah's sophmore album shows that she still has the drive to make a comeback, and that she used it. Her upbeat tracks ("To Be Around You", "Emotions", and "Make it Happen" to name a few) are free of Hip Hop collabs and are wonderfully written and sung. The ballads are the highlight of this album, though. "So Blessed" is one I listen to everyday. It is a wonderful song, best on the CD. "You're so Cold" is SO funny, and "The Wind" is a great remake with a twist of jazz. "Till the End of Time" is the second best on the album. Most of these songs are on my MP3 player!

Mariah Carey started off with a mega sucessful debut in 90'. Her follow up promised to be better but one listen made your toes curl. Sure, no matter what album she records, she displays her beautiful talented voice. She is actually one of my favorite singers right beside Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Vanessa Williams and Alicia Keys. Yes the title song Emotions was great but became to repetive and annoying. No other song provided much. Music Box was way overhyped while this one wasn't. Her best album to date is Butterfly and new album Charmbracelet which embraces hip hop, a music I DON'T care for much. check out my site: http://www.mjacksononline.tripod.com

Mariah's sophomore disc, Emotions contains 10 majorly underrated songs. Though Mariah did have a hit with Make It Happen, Emotions and Can't Let Go, this album didn't get the recognition it deserved.From beginning to finish, this album isn't very different musically styled than her debut, however this was overlooked. Beautiful ballads such as And You Don't Remember, Can't Let Go, If It's Over and Till The End Of Time are some of Mariah's best ballads. Definitely a must for any fan, if you liked her self-titled debut, songs from Music Box or #1s/Greatest Hits, definitely get this.
