Product Description

From AudioFile

This trilogy of science fiction follows the life and adventures of Ender Wiggin from the "games" he played as a child, which destroyed the Buggers, to his prevention of the "Xenocide" of several races. Each story is seamlessly abridged. Mark Rolston narrates, subtly shifting intonation and accent to reflect adults, computers and non-human races. Interesting tricks of voice and telepathic thoughts add to the appeal of these stories. With unending action and complicated plots, the trilogy concludes just when it gets really interesting. M.B.K. Ingram

This millennium-long saga begins with Ender Wiggin as a child warrior who fights a great inter-galactic battle with an insect-like alien race that threatens humanity with extinction. 6 cassettes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Few books can enter your mind like Ender's Game can., July 28 2000
By Eric Altman "singer songwriter" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Ender Wiggin Saga (Audio Cassette)
There is only one series of books in this world that I can truthfully say I have read over one-hundred times. There is only one series of books that give me something new every time I read them. Ender's Game and the books that follow and coincide with it are truly specialin their ability to tell a story that reflects human emotion so vividly that you find yourself invested deeply. I've looked through Ender's eyes as he prevailed through all that was thrown at him. I've cried when he was bent and twisted to the will of his trainers. I've felt for his sister when she realized that Ender had truly lost something of what he used to be. Then finally, I became both angry and relieved when in the end, there was victory yet a victory that Ender couldn't walk away from... it would forever be a haunting vision deep in his mind. I pitied him, as if he were a dear friend. For to me, he was. Mr. Card. You've made me love a child, and a man, I've never met and know to never have existed, but whom I would lay my life down for. Thank you.
