About the Artist
Jeff Johnson and Brian Dunning’s decade long collaboration has produced 7 CDs including the recently released “Byzantium - The Book of Kells and St. Aidan’s Journey” and “A Quiet Knowing - Canticles for the Heart.” Their songs have been included on best-selling compilations released by Windham Hill, Hearts of Space and Sparrow/EMI Records. They originally began working with one another in Portland, Oregon where Johnson grew up and Dunning was a member of the popular Celtic ensemble, Nightnoise. Johnson now resides with his family on Camano Island, Washington while Dunning lives with his family outside Dublin, Ireland where he grew up.

I have heard a track or two on spinner.com from this CD, so I decided to give it a go - very good album.I like the way these guys arrange the strings and flute together. This is an album to read or work on the computer to - dont' try to clean house or pull weeds, wrong stuff. I like this album, and try to play it when I have company over. It sets a very good mood for intelligent conversation.
