3.0 out of 5 stars A great idea, but not completely feasible, Feb 17 2010

This flashlight sounded like a great savior in case of an emergency. A flashlight that takes three different types of batteries. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend using double A batteries with this flashlight, they last only for about 3 minutes. I've had led flashlights that are brighter and last 40-50 hours+ on two double A batteries. Energizer should think of replacing this standard bulb with an LED. I guess making an efficient flashlight wasn't at the top of their list since they want you to buy their batteries. I would not use this as an emergency flashlight, it's design seems very cheap. But for as cheap as it is, it doesn't hurt to have around?
