1.0 out of 5 stars Wait instead of waste June 5 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Although I thoroughly enjoyed Sylvia Day's Bared to You, I was left disappointed with Reflected in You. So I was treading carefully when I ordered Entwined with You. The hype created on social media elevated my expectations and I was certain Sylvia Day would deliver as she had with Bared to You.

The best advice I can give a reader is to WAIT until all 5 books are out THEN read the series.

Entwined with You is a filler book. It expands the story from Reflected in You but it leaves you hanging in the worst possible way. Editors should not let authors end books for money making purposes. The story stretches itself even further (if you didn't think that was possible) and other from the hot sex scenes leaves you with nothing. Entwined with You leaves you wanting a build up to a specific story or revelation and it never does. In fact after I read the book I threw it across the floor. With no idea when book 4 will be out, it did nothing to put Sylvia Day back in my good graces after Reflected in You. In fact, I'm appalled after generating such hype on social media for this book, it "ended" the way it did and the editor allowed it.

It is obvious to anyone since 50 Shades, a lot of authors are trying to jump on this genre bandwagon and milk it for what it's worth. However, don't think your readers are as shallow as some of the characters in the book. Readers are also looking for the connecting storyline and plot twists to keep interest.

As hot as Gideon and Eva are together and how wild their warped world maybe, save your money until all 5 books are out so you can have the satisfaction of reading a complete story. Entwined with You could have continued in order to give the reader something to sink their teeth into for book 4 but instead it just left me wishing I had waited instead of wasting my money.

(I rated it one star because Amazon won't let me leave it blank)

1.0 out of 5 stars too dragging..... June 5 2013
By Samreen Ahsan TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
i was actually looking forward for the third part. although the 2nd was not as good as the first one, but still i wanted to know what would actually happen to Gideon. Sadly to say that story has not moved so much; its too dragging -- stretched by hot sex scenes repeatedly either in her room or his room or anywhere else. The story itself is not intriguing and i am quite surprised to read previous reviews that it has 2 more parts - that means 5 parts all together. Is this the other way of making money, dragging the story for nothing? Sylvia is not writing generation-by-generation Outlander series. Its just about Eva and Gideon, two people who are sexually drawn to each other, that's it. I am half way of this book and it doesn't really hold me to finish it till the end or wait for the next part. After reading Reflected in you, i waited months for this one and by the time it came, I completely forgot other characters than Gideon and Eva. I agree with the previous readers, too much hype was created over social media but 5 parts all together - it's hard to buy knowing each book is above ten bucks. The author should have a mercy on readers - its not about money making all the time.

1.0 out of 5 stars Stretching the elastic... What a deception June 7 2013
By Chétral TOP 500 REVIEWER
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I definitely enjoyed the first two books of the series, Bared to you and Reflected in you, where the characters and situations evolved in a sexy and thrilling plot, with secondary characters that support and give substance to the story.
In Entwined by you, I was terribly disappointed to see that Mrs. Day is stretching the sauce, diluting it until it has no substance whatsoever.
Not much happens in this third volume to make the characters evolve... The story is turning in circles, the situations appear repetitive, the characters are stagnating, sex scenes are repetitive, and it actually gets to the point where you think: "not another pointless sex scene..." Actually characters seem to be having sex to fill the pages of the weakening scenario.
Appart from not much happening in this book, the closer you get to the end, Mrs. Day starts to sprinkle little dashes of mini suspenses in a stellar distribution: around the main characters, in all directions, we guess that something eventually COULD be happening with this secondary character, soap opera style, but without actually going anywhere.
I definitely got the impression that Mrs. Day was ordered to make sequels, but has no idea where the story is going. The first two books at least had tremendous cliffhangers that incited you to read the next book; this time I had a sour taste in my mouth and definitely decided not to spend one more dime of mine in this series. Possibly will finish reading it if my local Library invests in the whole series...This book was not worth the cost, neither the time I spent reading it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ugh June 5 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Left me with more questions than answers. Waited months for this book, and now I wait again. Less sex scenes and more story would have been nice.

2.0 out of 5 stars None June 9 2013
By Cimmer
Format:Kindle Edition
I was so excited to see the notification for this in my inbox. I tore into it and let the story unfold, trailing along waiting for the plot to get going. It didn't happen in the first half so i was confused. By the time I hit 80% I realized it wasn't going to happen and when I got to 90% I realized what the ploy was. That Day would do this to her readers is disappointing but not surprising given today's publishing business. Insulting nonetheless. This is a filler book and I don't see how anyone can claim otherwise.

2.0 out of 5 stars filler.
I was disappointed. It was fine. But is completely a filler. The series could have been finished in 3 but the author clearly wants to dollars and stretched it out to 4.

Enjoyed seeing where the romance between Gideon and Eva was going. The love scenes were hot but not a plentiful as the prior books.
