A Pretty Good Compilation, Juil 11 2004
First off, I like how the music was fairly evenly distributed. However, there were more songs from "Blizzard of Ozz" & "No More Tears" than the others, and the extras from those could have been used for something from "The Ultimate Sin". It's understandable though since Ozzy doesn't like that album, and he has every right not to like and not to include it, since it's his music. "The Ultimate Sin" isn't that bad of a CD though, except for Shot In The Dark. It's a terrible track in my opinion, and though I can't explain why, I'll just say it doesn't seem like it's a song that should have came from Ozzy.There was a few tracks that didn't need to be on there (Rock 'n' Roll Rebel, I Don't Want To Change The World (Live), No Easy Way Out), but that's just my opinion, and it all depends on people tastes in music. Most of the tracks are good though, and I'm pretty pleased with the CD. Following the trend, here's what my version of "The Essential Ozzy Osbourne" would have looked like (You won't see any songs originally by Black Sabbath on here because in my eyes they belong on a Black Sabbath compilation, or on Speak/Talk of The Devil): *Disk 1* 01 - I Don't Know
