kind of silly... Oct. 10 2008
By C. Gustafson - Published on
Format: Audio CD
Basically this is a compilation of 16 tracks already featured on previous Now Christmas releases, and 9 new additions:

Harry Simeone Chorale - The Little Drummer Boy
Jackson 5 - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town
Donny Hathaway - This Christmas
Amy Grant - Breath Of Heaven
Hall & Oates - Jingle Bell Rock
Carrie Underwood - Do You Hear What I Hear
Colbie Caillat - Misletoe
Ledisi - This Christmas
The Temptations - Silent Night

Unless you absolutely need these songs, your money would be better spent on Now Christmas 1, 2, or 3. They cost the same and come with more music.

Excellent mix of Christmas music with a surprising rarity... Dec 19 2012

There's quite a bit of good music on this album; about 20 of the songs are definitive Christmas classics that you hear played (or maybe overplayed?) on the radio and in shopping malls every December. Johnny Mathis' It's Starting to Look Like Christmas, Jose Feliciano's Feliz Navidad, and Hall & Oates' Jingle Bell Rock (Daryl's Version) are all favorites worth the purchase to me. My only minor complaint is that I wish Beach Boys' Little Saint Nick was the single version and not the album version as it is here; the single version has a more "Christmasey" sound to it. Also I was surprised by the version of Wham's Last Christmas on here; it's not the single or "Pudding Mix" version but rather a rare alternate mix with a distinct "clapper" sound and a missing verse. Not really as good as the hit version but still an interesting listen, and pretty hard to find otherwise. Overall though the album's one of the better Christmas compilations you'll come across and if you can get it during Amazon's frequent mp3 promotions it's a bargain.

Great Christmas Songs Dec 10 2012

I bought this MP-3 music album to listen to on my way to Seattle, WA this Christmas as all my Christmas CD's are packed away with my Christmas decorations. It has all the artists and songs I like. I would recommend this to anyone.

Just the right.... Dec 9 2012

There is just the right amount of both old and new music on this album/cd/recording. I'm enjoying it a lot.

Pretty Good Compilation Dec 19 2012
By Jeff Penn - Published on
Wow, first off I'll just say what a steal this is! Just $0.99 for 25 songs! Thanks Amazon. Anyway, this compilation is pretty good. It has a lot of the classics, even right from the beginning. But, it does have some pretty unnecessary tracks. I mean, Carrie Underwood and Colbie Callait? Really? They don't even have Nat King Cole's "The Christmas Song", which is very essential. So overall, pretty good, but could use more classics.
