I recently purchased the spoon/spatula - it works really well with soft batters - cupcakes, muffins, etc - not so well with cookie dough as it is too stiff.Stir and scrape with the same tool!! Also, love the colour!

A while ago, I bought the Trudeau silicon spatula (green), which works great except the size is a little bit short (9"). When I saw this HIC spatula, I thought they are the same, except the size. So I ordered it.However, when it arrived, I found the body is too soft and the edge is too thick, which make it very clumsy to stir food and to scrape pans. I tried to get used to it, but i gave up after a few trials since it always takes me much longer time to finish the same task. Now I just go for my Trudeau spatula every time. Another minor disadvantage of this product is that it's completely smooth, which makes it slippery to grab for wet hands, while the trudeau ones bear some grainy pattern on the surface. The advantage of this spatula, is similar to any other silicon spatula: easy to clean, heat resistant, helpful for scraping and can protect your teflon pan. However, comparing with the Trudeau spatula, I think this one is much worse in terms of functionality.

This is a great kitchen tool. Perfect size and shape as a stirrer for large stews, soups, etc. And I like the colour - not too bright but not dull. Good purchase.
