Clear, easy-to-follow lesson plans and great music -- a winner for teachers and young students alike! Seasonal themes will appeal to kids (and who could resist the "Bug Squash Walk"! )

While you don't need a Dalcroze background to appreciate this book, it's a welcome and inspiring addition to the literature for Dalcroze educators.

Excellent lesson ideas to help develop musical ideas through incorporation of movements. The lessons can be easily adapted to help music learners of ALL ages learn the fundamentals of beat (pulse), tempo, rhythmic patterns, and rests. I was so impressed that I purchased the whole set.

I use this book so much in my k-1 general music classes. This book would work the best w/ small groups of kids, but I modify things to make them work w/ my larger classes. I really think Dale's movements help children listen and develop many skills without realizing that they are learning!
