This play by Euripedes is absolutely brilliant. The Cambridge translation is amazing and the footnotes and background story are so helpful. The translation however is so good that even if the text didn't have the footnotes or background history it certainly wouldn't effect your understanding of the play! Defiantly recommend this edition if you have to read "Medea" for college or even if you just want to read it for fun (I know weird, but people still read for fun).
