The Movie's Better,
By A Customer
This review is from: Eurotrip (Audio CD)
This soundtrack was ok, but it's missing Sheena Easton's "Morning Train (Nine to Five)"! That was disappointing. But "Scotty Doesn't Know" is the highlight of this cd. "Make My Dreams Come True" is another one of my favorites.

Just good, low-brow fun,
By Jim Ross "JimboJim" (Philadelphia, PA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Eurotrip (Audio CD)
The movie is what it is; raucous and sometimes clever low-brow humor. Parts were tedious (hot tub and boobs) and MANY other parts were just laugh-out-loud crazy. I can't stop giggling when I think of our heros' arrival at bombed-out-looking-not-quite-so-post-Soviet Bratislava to the strains of an old Red Army Chorus song (which I wish had been on the soundtrack CD). Jamie toting around the Frommer guides, expensive camera, and money belt was scaringly reminiscent of ME in Europe. It's easy to laugh now at how people must've seen me. The soundtrack is nothing special but fun nonetheless. Like the movie, its just something to pop into the changer when you need something light-heartedly fun. It is what it is, and as good as it can be for what it is. SO, as is, for what it is, it gets five stars.

Good movie, but more alcohol would've made it better...,

Not only was the movie funny, but it was clever also. But regardless, the campy ending had to go. That just ruined it. As for the music, it's the newest shipment of mainstream puss, oh I mean punk rock, and one hit wonders. Scotty doesn't know is catchy, but nothing to buy the album over. As for jaker5064, keep watching that one scene over and over while you hit the rock. Don't let anyone tell you that you're slow for watching it over and over and still get a kick out of it. The OST, decent but catered to too much borderline emo rock and mainstream crap bands.
