I was waiting for this book for quite some time. I have read all the Eve Duncan stories and have enjoyed them. I am now waiting for Bonnie. This should complete the whole storyline. I like the way Iris Johansen incorporates more than one story in all her books. Sometimes it is difficult to figure out who is the bad person and who is the good person. I highly recommend this book.

Art Matters: The Art of Knowledge/The Knowledge of ArtI have been following Eve Duncan for quite some time. While I like most of the books, sometimes, as with all long series, some books are not as good as others. But that is not the case here. Eve is first rate. To add some detail that the other reviewers have not put in, we get to meet Eve as a teenager when she meets John Gallo, Bonnie's father. We the whole story. WE then move to now and the search for Bonnie's killer continues big time. Aiding Eve is Catherine Ling, whom we met in the previous Eve Duncan novel. Catherine is a CIA agent and owes Eve for helping Catherine to find her long lost kidnapped son. John is presumed dead, killed a long time ago, but now Catherine has evidence that he may be alive and that he may have been Bonnie's killer. The chase leads to Gallo's property in Wisconsin where Joe Quinn joins the hunt. The book ends, as it has to, with a cliffhanger, which gets picked up in the second novel of the trilogy. A great read on all levels. Great characterization, great plotting, and great suspense.
