Pros: Very light weight stroller and carrier, Easy to open and collapse stroller, nice large reinforced basket in the bottom, with carseat and stroller covers down baby is almost entirely protected from the sun.
Cons: A lot more plastic parts due to light weight, stroller seat doesn't recline flat (almost flat), stroller doesn't close properly when seat set to lowest setting
We love the featherlite travel set. As it's name says it's very light. The stroller itself weights around 11lbs and most should be able to lift it with just one arm. The infant carseat comes with a quick lock base as well, which makes it a breeze to move from the car to the stroller, or from the car into the house.
We've found the large basket very useful as well. It can take a reasonable amount of weight (jackets, purses, groceries) and doesn't sag or drag on the ground like some strollers (i.e. Peg Perego). It's also easily accessible from the back, where mommies and daddies are standing, unlike some other strollers that access from the front or side.
The carseat is somewhat "no frills". Baby seems ok in it, but it certainly isn't as "cushy" as some more expensive ones. Protection wise, it's just as good as any other car seat, and it's quite light, making it easier to move baby around if she falls asleep in it.
Overall very happy with this travel set. It has everything we need, and it's nice and light.
