First of all, I would recommend buying this retail as I did, it was about $40 cheaper at Walmart.
Second of all, this is not a heavy bag. It is not meant for hard punches and Jackie Chan karate kicks. This is a CARDIO bag. It is meant for jabs and building reflexes. Anyone who did any research or followed the workout example you find on their website you would know this. After a solid month of 5 times weekly workouts, my bag is still working and has never fallen over.
If you want something to beat up, you should have done your research and gotten a heavy (or light) PUNCHING bag. Don't give products bad reviews because you didn't follow the instructions and broke it. The product itself is perfectly suited for its proper use.

This is a toy designed for children under 10 years old. Says to fill with sand or water, should be lead, it falls over easily...

This item was purchased for Christmas. Within 30 minutes of it being out of the box, it broke. Not sturdy at all. I would not recommend it for any reason.

A bit disappointing... Dec 2 2010
By Rose - Published on
I was very excited when I bought this. I did some research and read reviews on this and other punching bags (This one has very few reviews on the internet. Must still be pretty new.) but once I got it home and put it together I realized pretty quickly that it's just like punching around a balloon. It has no weight to it. Also it's not adjustable like I'd hoped so I took out one of the bars to make it a little lower for kicking and for my four year old to have at it as well. I'm a woman, 5'6" about 123 lbs. I bought this to add to my home gym and to help relieve stress. This is among the least expensive of it's kind but it seems you get what you pay for. I have the Everlast Reflex Bag and I really like it, which is why I decided to buy this as well but there's a big difference between hitting a reflex bag and hitting inflated cloth. That being said, I'll keep it for a while until I decide to trade up.

Dont Buy Jan. 6 2011
By Raintoine - Published on
Broke in 20 minutes. The base is well constructed and small, which drove me to choose this unit, but the bag is like a child's toy. The balloon/bag thing popped after 15 minutes of mild exercise. Now, it leaks too badly to use. Don't waste your money. Spend a bit more and buy something that will last more than 1 day.

Disappointing Bag Jan. 3 2011

I bought this bag for my very athletic twelve year old daughter for Christmas. It was easy to set up. She used it for four days before it started to deflate. Thought that perhaps the value on the bottom came lose, so we pumped it up again, but no deflated again in less than 24 hours.....very disppointing
