Wonderful and romantic vampire romance, Oct 10 2010
By J. Osborne "romance lover" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Everlasting Desire (Mass Market Paperback)
I love vampire romances and Amanda Ashley is one of my favorite writers so maybe some people might consider me a bit biased as I have not given her one bad review. I really enjoy her writing style and though it may not appeal to everyone, I know that it most certainly does to me. I truly enjoy her books and Everlasting Desire was no acception. Rhys Costain is an almost five centuries old vampire who has avoided love and all its repercussions. Having had a taste of what he thought was love once, he had no desire to go that route again. He never expects to find another mortal woman who would make him desire more until he meets Megan DeLacey. Megan works for a store called Shore's which caters to some of L.A.'s richest and sexiest bachelors. None of them have ever affected her like Rhys Costain, the dark-eyed stranger who strides into her boutique one evening and keeps returning night after night. Rhys is the Master of the West Coast vampires and he has an ancient vampire to contend with that plans on taking over his turf. I won't go into any further details as I don't want to give anything away but I will say that I found the whole story very entertaining. Having read all of Amanda Ashley's vampire books, I do admit that some scenes were very predictable but it did not for a moment take away from the story. I don't agree with the reviewer that claims she writes amateurishly and there is certainly nothing wrong with being descriptive in my opinion. I found the story entertaining, the characters enchanting, the villain dastardly and the romance beautifully portrayed. Thank you Ms. Ashley for another enjoyable vampire romance.

Love everlasting, Oct 4 2010
By Paul Jutras - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Everlasting Desire (Mass Market Paperback)
While the ending of Everlasting Kiss was fantastic over all I find Everlasting Desiree even better because I feel it focus' more Megan and Rhys relationship first and the danger of the city second. Everlasting Kiss focus more on the vampire hunters than on Daisy's feeling for her beloved. What town meets about a rogue vampire Rhys has with other vampires are quick and over with to get back to the lovers feeling for one another. Some other reviewers say Megan didn't do anything to show her kind heart for Rhys but I disagree. Their snuggling before the fire after learning what he, telling him she still love him even though she's scared of him shows to me a caring heart. Love at first sight can never truly be explained.
Megan works for Mr. Parker in a men clothing store. Rhys thinking of getting into dating again after seeing how happy Daisy is falls for Megan at first sight. He shops at Shore's clothing store almost every night until he convinces her to go out with him. Although there something about him that she fears her heart tells her she can't live without him in her life. Her room mate Shirley a strong believer in that vampires exist figures out first what he is and talks Rhys into turning her. Upon being turned what Megan fears most start to happen. Shirley's personality changes and she dumps her human boy friend for an ancient vampire who seem to be after Rhys' territory. Rhys fears for Megan safety and can only hope their love is strong enough to survive the possible vampire war ahead.
