If I said there was something good about this combo pack is that you got 2 movies for the price of one.But that's it. The audio in one is DTS MA 5.1 but the other was just Dolby 5.1. The video wasn't transferred but not cleaned up - so there is plenty of background crap. The only extras is the trailer for Any Which Way You Can. Nothing else. Eastwood had a series of movies in this era where he went away from his cop/western personas and did these odd ball movies [think Bronco Billy and Honkytonk Man]. They obviously weren't big movies compared to the others. Some of his "stable" of people including Sondra Locke, Geoffrey Lewis and Harry Guardino appear. At least they didn't use those horrible covers from the DVD release

im giving both movies 5 stars because they are great classics . but beware of sound changes made within both movies . warner bros made changes to sound fx when philo fights . it may not bother some people but i noticed it right away and it bothers me that warner brothers chose to do this when they have plenty of room to include the original sound mix

I'm happy to report that the somewhat misleading use of the term "2 movie set", while true, is less informative than '2 Disc Set'. Yes indeed this is a 2 disc set, not '1' as widely speculated prior to release (also shown as '1 disc' on Amazon's product page).

i was really thrilled to watch these movies as i hadn't seen them in a while. As i watched the first film it was apparent to me that parts of the movie that helped make it great were missing. What happened to the "right turn clyde" parts of the movie that really helped to make it famous? I also believe there are scenes with the biker gang that were also omitted. What gives? Does Warner Bros. really think we wont notice this? If anyone is still in possession of the original cut of this movie either on dvd or vhs, keep it and skip this version. That is, unless you don't mind the best parts of your movies being edited out.
