solid devotional for young women. June 24 2009
By Amelia Ferrell - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Leather Bound Verified Purchase
i enjoyed this devotional. the daily readings are short, as well as the verses they may quote, so it's a good start or end to a day with your bible.

i was a little disappointed because i was hoping for more in-depth study on topics for women, including purity (which is one this one focuses on a lot).

this devotional would be perfect for a teenager whom you feel is not ready for graphic sexual talks. it touches on a lot of subjects, including purity of mind and what it means to be a woman in a relationship with a man and with God.
VERY DISAPPOINTING Oct. 1 2013

This is not what I was looking for; I was eager to start my day connecting with the Lord, this was not what I had anticipated. I am 57 year old woman, I don't need to be reminded of sexual purity.
This book is just not good at all Aug. 26 2014

This book is just awful. If you have a friend who is on the verge of having an affair, then I can see a small chance of this being a good fit for her. My husband has the men's version and we both agree on these books: they contain very little scripture and focus way too much on porn and not cheating.

Disappointing Feb. 5 2009
By Raven Wood - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Leather Bound
I received this book as a gift and thought, GREAT! Daily Inspirationals just what I was looking for, no joke, I really was looking for a book with daily inspirationals that would be uplifting and inspiring. However, I read the last page for the year and wondered why in the world I would want to pray for that? Then I read Day 1 and again I wondered, what? Anyway, if you consider yourself a prude despise the thought of sex, same sex partners, sex in movies or pictures, then this book is not for you. Yes, I consider myself a Christian, however, I do not think that sex is a bad thing especially between two people that love each other. What I don't need is a book that continuously brings it to my attention everyday in a negative way. Well, that's my opinion.
