Vancouver-based singer-songwriter, Wanting, releases her first full-length studio album, Everything In The World, on Nettwerk Records. Wanting, a self-taught musician with a voice similar to that of Chantal Kreviazuk, Anna Nalick, and Christina Perri, has been recognized in the early stages of her career. Having already sound-tracked the upcoming Chinese film Love in the Buff, appeared on a Mercedes Benz sampler, and amassed combined views of millions on Chinese YouTube, she is an artist to be on the lookout for. Wanting's piano-swept music has won a following because her compositions pop musings that plumb emotion & resonate universally. The lilting first single "Life Is Like a Song" is a reflection on life s ebbs and flows and the cascading song "Drenched," is about surrendering oneself to love. Meanwhile, "You Exist in My Song," sung in Mandarin, is about old friends alive in one s thoughts.

first time listen to 'You exist in my song' from internet, it barely took me a min to totally fall in love with her. I am overwhelmed by her charming voice. She can sign when playing piano or gitar. But most importantly she wrote almos all songs in this album. She is gifted for music. For that she doesn't waste any of her talent.
'You exist in my song' is a song in mardian. It swiped through whole mainland China. Yes, I am talking about millions of audience. I believe it will the song of year in China.
Wanting is a chinese girl. But not only her Chinese song rocks, but also her english songs. I am also very surprised to find out she study in Canada and she signed under Canadian company. I live in Toronto, I am looking forward to see her in person when she open concert here. Don't make me wait too long.
Highly recommend this albume. Simply pretty music. BTW, I barely buy any cd, but I rushed myself to buy this one and I enjoy every bit of sound coming out from it.

so proud of Wanting not only because she is Chinese. I m not even a fan of her actually but since listened to the song <everything in the world>, I liked her and bought this cd though I could download mp3 without paying it. To support her, to support people with music dream.
