This does not look very "high def" and certainly not filmed at 1080p. Also, with all that room on a B-ray disc, you think they could make the segments longer than a few minutes; what happened, did the fishy's union demand overtime or something? It's not like there is huge overhead filming a tank of fish with a stationary camera. Waste of money.

We bought this thinking it was filmed in high-dev, it's NOT. They tried to upscale it somehow, but if you've seen anything filmed in true high-dev, you will be disappointed. We thought it would be a reef or filmed in the ocean, but it's just various tanks. It's very unimaginative, we could have gone to a local aquarium supply store and shot a video of a tank!
Wait for a true high-dev aquarium product, this one is not worth it and now we are stuck keeping it since we opened the package and tried it.

I was excited when I first saw this as I am a big fan of salt water tanks.. But like many I cannot afford to have one as they cost a small fortune. So, When I saw this I jumped at the chance to get it. It offers a few different tanks to watch the only problem is that they are only about 5-6 minutes long. I would have hoped for 30 or more minutes looping 5 minutes gets repetitive seeing how it has to reload.
There are 3 ways to view most of the tanks... Full (the full tank is in the frame) zoomed (it follows the fish....) or edited... The aquariums look very good in full mode. I have a 1080p tv so they almost look real.
Some Of the tanks look new and, I believe they were set up just for this as they have no corraline and no where near enough snails/crabs to keep the growth down. Also, the predator tank that they have is very cramped. People who have owned tanks before will understand that the tank pictured looks good but, wouldn't last but a few weeks before it crashed.
Overall I would still prob buy it again because i like marine tanks so much. Its just too bad that they did not do a better job.
