The basic concept is that the more you give the more you get, and by providing the extra effort for your customers you'll be rewarded with increased customer loyalty and, yes, bigger profits. Think about it - you probably remember those places you've been where you experienced extraordinary customer service, and you'd not only go back again but you'd tell your friends and colleagues.
