5.0 out of 5 stars Wicked Cool, Dec 30 2003
This review is from: Eyes of Truth (Audio CD)
I love this song by Enigma. It's truly one of the greatest tracks ever. It became famous for being featured in the trailer for the first Matrix film but I was familiar with it long before that because it was also used in the trailer for The Long Kiss Goodnight. When I saw that trailer I was like 'wow, what is that music?'. I took me a few years but it was worth it.

There are 4 mixes of The Eyes of Truth on this CD. I short radio edit. The full length version, a techno remix (which has some very cool parts but doesn't do the melody much justice) and a Dub version which is like a short version of the remix.

I'm not really a huge fan of Enigma as I haven't heard much of their stuff (TNT For The Brain and I Love You, I'll Kill You are the only other ones I know). But if everything is like this then they must we worth checking out.

A total neo-classic, no doubt.

Like others, I was after this CD for the music from the movie "The Matrix" and oddly enough this music is not on the movie sound track. The version on the album is not as good as the "Radio Edit" which is track one of this single. The radio edit has the actual music from the movie trailers and it rocks!!

This is an excellent mix of this title. German dance mix on the 3rd track is worth getting the CD. Excellent Enigma.
