5.0 out of 5 stars Buy it., Nov 10 2005
By Mr. M. J. C. Sparks - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Fabric Of Reality (Paperback)
This is a truly astonishing book which my simple review on Amazon cannot do justice to. Quantum physics, virtual reality, mathematics, evolution and more are melded together in Deutsch's distinct and original philosophy. Occasionally the book can be tough going, and some chapters need to be re-read, but are all the more enjoyable in the re-reading. One of the reviews on the back-cover: "This book may well change your life". It certainly changed mine. Buy this book. Go on, click the 'Add to cart' link...

5.0 out of 5 stars Brillante, Oct 17 2011

2.0 out of 5 stars pretty much unreadable, Sep 11 2011
By Neil Adams - Published on Amazon.com

The ideas are great but the writing style is convoluted, making large swathes unreadable. David Deutsch would have benefited from a determined editor who might have limited his stream of consciousness style of writing and put a better structure to the book. I came away bored and irritated, rather than inspired, as I had hoped.
