Product Description

Harry Tyler, undercover cop, is the best in his field. Sharp-witted and cool-headed, he always nails his man. Johnny Too, East-End gangland villain, is handsome, cunning, and dangerous, and always gets what he wants. So when Harry's next job is to infiltrate Johnny's firm and bring the chaps to book, the results are inevitably explosive and exciting. Determined as ever to get a result, Harry goes deep undercover and immerses himself in the gangland life of women, cars, drugs, and guns. A fast-moving and fiery novel, the story blazes a trail through the street-life of London, culminating in a pacey and thrilling finale.

4.0 out of 5 stars Police And Thieves..., Sep 25 2003

This review is from: Face B (Paperback)
...oh yeah! Garry Bushell successfully emulates the dime store crime novel here. The Face is a edgy midnight stroll down sleazy street, it has no pretense and makes no apologies. Like the men who elect a life of crime and those who choose to uphold the law it is what it is: the Face is plain and simple, it draws you in and hold a gun to your head until the very last page. This is Sopranos meets East Enders, Donny Brasco on fish and chips.
