The short stories were heart warming and the characters very likeable. Because these were 3 short stories (could read each in about 1 1/2 hrs)the characters and story lines were not very well developed. With better developed characters and a few road bumps in the story, these could have easily turned into a great 3 book series!

I don't normally buy books where there are 3 short stories cause the plots and characters don't seem developed enough. But I really liked a previous book by this author, so I took a chance and bought it. Very well written with wonderful inner dialogues. The characters are realistic and the stories may have been short, but were perfectly paced so it wasn't too noticeable. I wish all short stories were written this well.
