This book explains in simple terms how to sculpt figures, faces etc. Best I have read so far, and actually works quite easily when put into practice. Lots of illustrations and step by step. Great for a beginner!

Format: Paperback
I recently added this book to my growing collection of books on sculpting with polymer clay. It was a bit of a gamble when I got it, but I wasn't disappointed. It has interesting ideas for specifically sculpting fantasy characters that wasn't an overlap with other books, but also provided some new methods / techniques for sculpting faces I can use even when the creatures aren't fairies or gnomes.

Format: Paperback
This book is full of pictures and step by step instructions for making fairies and other magical beings. The level of sculptural detail is excellent that would even guide a beginner or advanced artists. The author has outlined in photos and explains how to build realistic faces, body shapes, clothes and intricate details to make the figures appear as lifelike as possible. A beautiful book very well done and worth every penny especially if you are a fairy lover or craft person.
