Eden Baylee writes tales that are not simply arousing, but populated with three-dimensional characters. Her heroes and heroines are layered, sometimes damaged, people. High literary style is not something one usually associates with erotica, but Ms. Baylee skilfully manages this high-wire act through the four novellas that make up 'Fall into Winter'. The tone of the stories is likewise varied, both in pace and intensity - 'Act Three' being the most overtly sexual of the collection. 'The Norwegian' is a meditation on lost love and recovery, 'Seduced by the Blues' a homage to the power of music, and 'The Austrian and the Asian' a bitter-sweet tale of travel and encounter.

Highly recommended for the thoughtful consumer of sensual writing.

Highly Recommended April 2 2011
By Nicole Williams - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
I've read this book twice and each time I fell in love with the characters, storyline and the voice of the book. Each story is steamy and hot with characters you could relate to. There are rare books out there that fall into the erotica genre. Most end up being cheesy with laughable words. But Eden Baylee's voice for the characters are modern and sexy. You won't regret picking this wonderful book up and getting cozy and reading this from cover to cover. Its magnificent piece of erotica. Its a modern tale full of sexy words and steamy scenes. This is a book that you can read over and over again.

Elegantly Written Erotic Fantasies March 17 2011
By J. A. Greenwood - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
In my experience, finding erotica with engaging characters and strong plots is unusual, and it's downright rare to find a collection of erotica with those qualities that is as elegantly written as "Fall Into Winter." These stories feature strong, self-possessed women who know what they want sexually and aren't afraid to get it. Each of the four novellas in this collection take you to the edge of fantasy but not so far out that they lose plausibility; if you like erotica that takes place in the realm of the possible, this book is for you. Sexy, arousing and fun, this elegant, witty collection is an honest, playful exploration of sexuality, seduction and lust. Eden Baylee is exceptional.

A perfect erotic pleasure Aug. 10 2012
By Cameron D. Garriepy - Published on Amazon.com

Eden Baylee's collection, Fall Into Winter, weaves erotic encounters and deep emotional connections into four novellas that satisfy. Racier than a romance, well written and crafted with care, packing every bit of the unabashed emotion and belief in the power of love you could want in a sexy read--without compromising the flat-out erotic sex scenes with flowery or ridiculous language.

Eden writes erotica for the modern, intelligent reader, and I am so very glad she does!

Excellent stories Feb. 8 2014
By ChristophFischerBooks - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
"Fall Into Winter" by Eden Baylee is a truly wonderful selection of four erotic short stories.
Unlike many other such compilations each segment in the book has a unique storyline and characters that will draw the reader's attention so much you wish it were a full length story.

The opening story is about a chance encounter in a trashy bar. Baylee thankfully opens the dialogue with harmless flirtation and allows her characters to build a connection before physical chemistry takes its path. This is a great story with erotic content, not erotica with a unconvincing cover pplot. The theme is serious and deeper attraction between an unlikely couple.

The second story explores the sex life of a couple and cleverly shows how sex is an expression of ourselves. After the first story I was surprised to find such different characters and initially I did not even like them, until the story and their issues made more sense. The ending here is particularly well done.

Past and present collide in unexpected ways in "The Norwegian", another great story about a writer trying to get away from it all to focus on her writing.

Having been born near the Austrian border I also particularly liked the last story about an Austrian - Asian connection.

This is an very enjoyable read, competently written with great dialogue and puns, believable characters and stories that hold everyone's interest. The sex scenes are natural and describes with just the right amount of detail and realistic description, sparing us the mistake of far fetched metaphores and overly artistic elaborations.

Focused, sharp and witty this is writing that transcends the purely erotic and finds itself on the literary end of the spectrum.

A writer to watch.

Fall Into Winter is a Joyfully Recommended Read Nov. 27 2011
By M. Nix - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
Are you ready for a collection of four super-hot romances that will leave you burning with great desire? Then go pick up your copy of Eden Baylee's Fall into Winter.

"Seduced by the Blues"
When it came to dating younger men, Ella Jamison always had a love `em and leave `em type of attitude. So why did she find it difficult to quickly end things with John Cook - her current boy toy who was twelve years her junior?

John Cook was a man of action. He was not afraid to go after what he wanted, and he wanted Ella Jamison with a burning passion. Will he be able to convince her that age wasn't nothing but a number and that they were perfect for each other?

There is nothing like a determined man. Wow! John had me wishing that I was in Ella's shoes. His seduction skills were charming, resolute and oh, so alpha-like. No wonder Ella was hot for him regardless of their age difference.

"Act Three"
Stella Christy and Norman Desmond had been in a relationship for a little over a year. Each sexual encounter between them was in a Queen/King role play with lots of BDSM action. Always eager to try something new, Stella suggested a ménage a trios between her, Norman and a trusted third guy. Will Norman, a very jealous type of man, be open to Stella's new fantasy idea or has Stella bitten off more than she can chew?

If you are into a little BDSM play with a twister thrown into the mix then, "Act Three" is just the story for you. I must admit that Ms. Baylee had me going for awhile not sure of the outcome with a few petrifying moments. I must say, that I was pleasantly shocked. I don't want to say too much and give away the plot, so you will have to pick up a copy to discover just what I am talking about.

"The Norwegian"
With hopes of overcoming her writer's block, Leah Jones barricaded herself into a remote cabin determined to finish her latest book during the Christmas holiday. What Leah didn't plan on was to instantly fall for a handsome stranger who reminded her of a lost love from her past. Will Leah take a chance on a happily-ever-after future with a handsome Norwegian by the name of Henrik Kristiansen, or will she remain stuck in the past, alone with only memories to keep her warm?

Out of the four tales, "The Norwegian" was the most heartfelt story. I truly admired Leah and how she dealt with the tragic curve ball life had thrown her. She just needed Henrik to open her eyes to a second chance at love. The journey proved to be a difficult one and I wasn't sure if Leah was willing to let go of the past. Nevertheless, Henrik refused to give up on the treasure that he found in Leah. This is one story not to be missed.

"The Austrian and the Asian"
Ten years ago while on vacation in Austria, Elena Lee had an epigrammatic but scorching love affair with Stefan Georges. Despite the fact that she had moved on in life, Elena never forgot what she had shared with Stefan. Because so many years had passed without any form of communication between them, Elena knew that she had lost her one true love--or so she thought. Once again in Austria, Elena was reunited with Stefan. Will she be able to walk away the second time around?

By far, "The Austrian and the Asian" was the longest tale told. Yet, without the detailed length, the plot would have been lost. It was amazing to see how a true passion shared among a couple over ten years ago never really lost its burning desire within. The heat between Elena and Stefan was hot and oh so sweet.

Eden Baylee's debut novel Fall into Winter was simply an incredible read and I am honored to bestow it as a Joyfully Reviewed Recommended Read. While common elements unified all four stories, each one was a unique, standalone tale that I enjoyed reading from start to finish. Ms. Baylee is definitely one author that you will want to check out. Enjoy!
