I did get this on DVD and for only $10, it's a great price! It was very well done and quite hilarious. I understand why the other reviewers are angry about it being released separately, but unless it doesn't come in the next season, just wait! I actually can't stand this show normally, but I had to get this as a big Star Wars fan. This is probably why they released this, to get some exposure for the people who don't watch the show. I'm glad it was released separately because I would not have bought an entire season.

Decent episode- could be better,

Yes they're some funny moments, but it didn't stray far from the Star Wars episode IV story (D'uh) so there's no real surprises. Special efforts shots look great; as this episode was done with the cooperation and support of George Lucas.Don't hold your breath if you're waiting for this episode to be released on a Family Guy season DVD set. This is is a special stand-alone episode and will NOT be released on any future Season sets (according to a press release I read). FOX isn't stupid; not many people would buy this DVD if it was going to be included for free on the season 6 DVD set.

well i dunno if anyone could really make a bad star wars parody, its pretty much golden territory, unless i guess if it was someoneon who ated star wars and made a spitefull parody, that could suck but at the same time i bet there would be something awesome about it. With family guy though i expected quite a few more laughs than i got but that didnt stop me from enjoying it. I liked when they made jokes about things hat were going to happen later on in the movie because the craetors know that we've already seen star wars. for example when lukes aunt and uncl say "over my dead burnt body". good stuff.
