After a 7 Year wait Season 2 is finally here!
A big thanks once again to Shout Factory for releasing all the shows that other distributers back out of.
I never saw this show when it was originaly on TV, but bought season 1 way back in 2005 simply because I had heard so much about it over the years. And it was an excellent investment.
I fell in love with the show from the Pilot episode, which was actually a lot DARKER in nature then the episodes that followed. In the Pilot episode Mr. Roarke played a more dark character leaving the viewer to think he may actually be the Devil or God?
However the network gave the order to lighten his character up which was a wise decision as the show became a huge success with a large fan network over a span of 7 brilliant seasons.
Each epsisode takes you on an adventure into the unknown where several guests pay a generous amount of money to have there deepest, darkest, or dream fantasy come true. They arrive on the mysterious tropic island via a float plane while tattoo (Mr.Rourke's short and obedient right hand man)rings a bell in a tower shouting out his famous announcement "De plane, De plane boss". As the float plane comes in for a landing Mr. Rourke excitedly gets all his island staff together and instructs them "Smiles everyone, smiles! He then eagerly greets his guests upon arrival and makes sure they are treated like Royalty starting there Fantasy from the second they step out of the plane.
Every episode takes us along a fun action packed adventure with each guest of the Island as Mr. Rourke delivers on his promise of making their fantasies come true, wether it be good or bad, happy or sad. One way or the other the guests truly do get what they asked for, even if it is not what they expected.
Season Two offers us 7 more brilliant episodes than the first season, and with each one you can melt away into your own little world and experience the mysterious ways of Fantasy Island.

Great stuff, good quality DVD, picture and sound look awesome! I'm so happy to see all the old TV guest stars on season 2 on this DVD set!
