Even in very cold weather kept water from freezing, and under a foot of
snow, all the snow above it melted.
One minor note... Bought 4, and 3 of them had scratches on the inside
portion because tip of wire (plug) was put on the inside instead of around
the bowl (like image), in the packaging process.
Will buy more when needed, and already recommended the product to many
people.

Does exactly what it says: keeps water from freezing! A little small for my thirsty 20kg pup, and the cord's short - it says not to plug it into an extension cord, but I did all winter and it never failed.
