I am not going to give a review of this recording: there are already some written in the original edition of this recording: Jordi Savall, 2001 Aliavox. I just want to say that, most of the buyers waiting for this recording, were expecting a NEW recording, a new lecture, a new reading... a new experience with this work... That is what this Vivaldi edition is selling: a discover of Vivaldi Operas. And now, the opportunity will not be possible... A pity... Most of the buyers interested in the Vivaldi Operas, have already this recording... and if not., why do they have to buy this recording if the original is still existent?

I guess my title says it all. Although the contributions of Prina (Pompea) and Fernandez (Berenice) are worth the price but overall the new Farnace with I Barocchisti is preferable - it also retains all the roles at the correct pitch.
