This is a great book with 4 different stories in it, each one is about an old fashioned Christmas, and love. It is filled with the true meaning of Christmas, and a very good read - make that 4 very good reads!

This book contains 4 different Christmas stories by 4 different authors. I didn't find 3 of the stories that interesting and one I never even finished. But, I gave this book 5 stars because of Sally Laity's story - "For the Love of a Child". Her story just grabbed my heart. When I finish a book, I usually just pass them on or give them away. Not this book. "For the Love of a Child" is a story that I will want to read again someday.

After visiting Lindsborg, Kansas for their delightful Lucia Fest this year, I was so happy to find this book of stories and especially God Jul which takes place in that town.

I will look for other books by Tracie Peterson as the story was heart warming but not mushy.
