Extraordinary tale of romance and tradition! Oct. 28 1999
By TDP Brown ( - Published on
Format: VHS Tape
I first saw this movie years ago as a TV special and instantly fell in love. The story ties romance and suspense into a very realistic view of a centuries old tradition of horse racing and breeding. I can't help, but watch the movie time and again!

This is a wonderful movie about a woman entering into the horse business in Kentucky. It is a romance/drama that would be enjoyed by horse lovers everywhere.

She Never Gave Up March 17 2001
By "webstrdsgns" - Published on
Format: VHS Tape
I was amazed at the actress's determination not to give up on her dream. It helps me to realize the strength women can have when faced with uncertainties of being self supportive. Her love for horses and knowing their capabilities made her dream a reality. My husband's copy of this video was damaged and I have been trying to order a new one for some time now with no success. He was an "extra" in this movie playing one of the jockeys. He used to be a jockey and actually raced horses at various tracks and still continues to train horses. Anyone watching this movie will love it as much as he loved acting in it. The thrill of winning and being successful in obtaining your dreams and goals through all the obstacles one can face, makes this movie give a person a lot of encouragement to "Never give up" on something your heart believes in.

Great movie of horses, breeding, love and a little touch of comedy. A hard to find video without the internet. I give it 5 stars and thanks to CBS for Airing the video in the late 1980's.
