Product Description

Twice divorced Flint, Michigan housewife and mother Sharee Miller, 27, met ex-cop Jerry Cassaday in an Internet chat room. A face-to-face meeting quickly ripened into sexual intimacy. Miller went home, but kept Cassaday's infatuation for her boiling with a steady stream of sexplicit e-mails - and a homemade X-rated videotape of herself. But Miller's e-mails to Cassady also said that her husband was a chronic wife-beater whose sexual abuse had caused her to miscarry Cassady's baby and that he was a career criminal who kept her in constant fear for her life. If only Bruce were dead, Sharee and Jerry could be together! "See if you can come up with a beautiful ending to this nightmare" Sharee Miller messaged. On November 8 1999, Cassaday travelled 700 miles from Missouri to Michigan and emptied a shotgun into Bruce Miller's throat. Cassady killed himself and Miller was sentenced to life in prison.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring piece of trash, July 16 2004
This review is from: Fatal Error (Mass Market Paperback)
What a waste of time. I have never read such boring drivel. It's easy to plagiarize trial transcripts and then sign your name to a book when nothing original is contained inside. If you want to read what a real true-life crime story is about, please skip this tedious tome.

4.0 out of 5 stars Suspensful, yet thrilling, Jan 19 2004
By
Traci Janes (Berryville, Arkansas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fatal Error (Mass Market Paperback)
With the use of the internet for nearly everything these days, Fatal Error gives a chilling description of what one woman did to a perfectly innocent man. She told him lies about her, told him she loved him, and wanted to spend forever with him. To this lonely little man, she meant the world to him. He would do whatever it took to keep her..even kill. It brings a sense of reality. I am an online user, and I do chat online sometimes. I was scared to get online for a time after reading this book. It is just that real, and that eeire. But I couldn't ever put it down until I fell asleep.

4.0 out of 5 stars When Jerry met Sharee, Sep 15 2003
By
TundraVision (o/~ from the Land of Sky Blue Waters o/~) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fatal Error (Mass Market Paperback)
They met in an online chat room. Soon Sharee (that's her evil mug on the cover) had Jerry wrapped around her trash-typing fingers - well enough to get his motor runnin' from KC to Flint, MI to whack her husband, Bruce, for her. The screen name she created for her soon-to-be-late husband and his salvage business, BDJUNK, fits her just fine. And then she discarded Jerry like just another piece of junk.

Reporters from both ends of this internet/interstate fatal triangle have teamed up to write this fast-paced True Crime chronicle, with a lot of help from the friends and relatives of the troubled threesome. Be warned: there is a lot of lurid verbatim porn. Reviewed by TundraVision, Amazon.com Reviewer
