About the Author
Christine Cushing is a trained chef who graduated top of her class in the Grand Diplôme program at Ecole de Cuisine La Varenne Paris, France. She has worked for Four Season's Hotels, Magna International, the King Ranch Health Spa, and Toronto's Scaramouche restaurant, where she was pastry chef. She has taught at the Kitchen Studio, operated her own cooking school, developed recipes for
Gusto magazine, Starbucks, and Ace Bakery, and worked as a demonstration chef for KitchenAid Canada, Northern Telecom, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Cushing was the host of
Dish It Out!, an interactive cooking show that aired on Life Network and Food Network for three seasons. She is currently the host of
Christine Cushing Live, which airs on Food Network Canada.
