Excellent,

This review is from: Feel It Break (Audio CD)
This is a unique sound from a promising artist. Hard to put a label on it; maybe a cross between Bijork and Arcade Fire. I'm looking forward to next the album.

I bought this album on a whim after hearing the song "Lose It" played on WKNC (thank you Shazam). I'm glad I did. It's great relaxing and background music; it's easy to drift away. I listen to it while writing. The previews give a pretty good impression of the album. The music is "soft" and rather soothing, yet not boring to the ear as there's a lot going on in each song. I've been listening to this for two days in a row and hear some new detail every time. I especially like the composition of the many voice tracks. My favorites so far: "Lose it" and "Shoot the water". Heavily recommended if you like this style of music at all. 5 of 5 people found the following review helpful

beautiful!,

When I found out that the lead singer was trained in Opera I was intrigued. Her masterful voice paired with intricate layers of music brings together one of my fave albums of 2011.

I absolutely love this group. I happened to hear "Lose It" on Sirius XM, and the entire album is equally great. Some of the electronics remind me of Cabaret Voltaire, some of the vocals of Enya and Annie Haslam, but the overall result is unique. The music is solemn and stately, hypnotic and dreamy...a stunning achievement by a group I will follow avidly!
