1.0 out of 5 stars Were these patterns even test knit? Nov. 6 2007
By A. E. Dominguez - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Ok, I've knit and felted the Spiral Placemat ( both multi-swirl and small swirl) and I have two lovely bowls. I then corrected for the normal medallion decreases and voila magic, I am getting flat disks. I am sorry to say I was very disappointed in this book. The designs look lovely and I will reknit the placemats as they were requested Christmas presents, however, with on website or errata location listed, I will not try another pattern from this book.
I've looked at the pictures that others have posted on Ravelry and I am not the only one to have this problem. Errata at least should be posted. AAARGH, this puts me behind in my Christmas knitting.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice, clear instructions. Nov. 11 2010
By dropdeadmediocre - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I purchased the book for one pattern... the cloche hat. My daughter just had to have one. The instructions were easy to follow and I found no errors in the pattern. Unfortunately, there were few other patterns in the book that really called to me. That being said, it is only a matter of taste, and I believe the book has a variety of items suitable for many people and their style preferences.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great felting how-to July 5 2007
By SacMom - Published on Amazon.com

The instructions for this book are great. If you have ever wanted to try felted knitting, this will get you started. I don't know that I will actually make any of the projects in the book. My taste is a little simpler than this author's projects. They do inspire me to try my own though.

Great info and patterns. The cloche hat is like nothing I've seen available online. That alone would have made this book worth it but there is so much great info and unique patterns that I'm a happy felter.
