Product Description

Limited two disc (CD + NTSC/Region 0 DVD) edition of the Canadian band's 2009 debut album including a bonus DVD. Over the course of their young career, Toronto's Die Mannequin have forged a reputation for rambunctious, chaotic live shows that include front-woman Care Failure playing in the crowd, on the bar and even outside the bar on the hood of a taxi. With two EP's now under their belts the band is finally set to deliver its full length debut, Fino + Bleed. This limited edition includes a bonus DVD entitled "The Raw Side of.....Die Mannequin." This documentary tells the story of Die Mannequin making it work in the music business and explores the central themes surrounding them. The stories go behind the scenes and depict the artist in their own environments, and in places not normally seen. Through death and heartbreak we follow Die Mannequin up through northern Canada, to meet with their manager, and then down through Boston and the United States for a North American tour, all while dealing with the pressures of the road, and for Care Failure, the pressure of writing new songs. Warner. 2009.

ino+Bleed DVD Ltd ed. by Die Mannequin
this is one of my favorite canadian hard rock bands. they can play with anyone and come out on top. Excellent musicianship through out, you have to see them live to appreciate their prescience. this album comes with dvd that allows you opportunity to check them out. this is their first lp, but Unicorn streak was a pretty long ep. everything they have available is excellent. there is not a bad song on this album, so check them out

3.0 out of 5 stars Not quite the same... Oct. 12 2009
By Shmee
Format:Audio CD
This seems to happen to several bands following a smashing debut album. The music seems overproduced and certainly less edgy than Unicorn Steaks. I noticed a differnce between the title track and the rest of the album. It went from punch you in the face punk rock to more of a raunchy girl rock. It is still a good album overall, I like it the more I listen to it, but it did not meet all of my expectations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why No Digital ? Jan. 6 2011

This new die album is great i've really been enjoying it. i got hooked on die from a free single, its odd theres no digital version or readily avalibility of sound samples for this album. you can check out samples from unicorn steak which is die's first 2 ep's together. care did several songs with cleaner vocals and there great, glad i spent the 12$ and waited to get it. fino bleed seems to me a cross of alt metal punk, great album not a clunker in the bunch! so go check em out!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock On June 23 2011

First review I've taken the time to make even though I love music. This is a fantastic band no one has ever heard of. If you're even interested/looking at this page, buy it. Or Better yet, buy the MP3 album of their older music so some proceeds go to the artist.
